A lovely 600 year old, rustic, coaching inn, set in the heart of the Taw Valley in deepest rural Devon.

Had a Fantastic stay and would highly recommend to any one thinking of visiting :0)

The Host are the best couple running a hotel I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.

Made us feel really welcome and woke at 7:30 to cook us a fantastic value and tasting breakfast.

If all people were like this the world would be a near perfect place.!!!!

many thanks for making our visit to devon a pleasant and memerable one and making us feel at home in portsmouth arms we will return soon now i know what Devon portions are i will be requesting them every where
